I hear all the time after someone has decorated their space.. they don’t want to leave home, they are happier, and they are ready to start on a new space.
You should love your home… decorate it with items you love so you can enjoy it.
Here are a few tips to help you get started in your home. I am planning to help you a long your way with blogs and social media post over the next few weeks!
Where to start? This is a question I get all the time. Or I just wish I had one room complete that I love.
Would you not love a home you don’t want to leave that gives you cozy, warm feels and just makes you happy.
Where to start? Pick a space or a room that you want done first.
Need help picking a space. Think about the first place a person or yourself sees when they walk in and start there. You will instantly feel good walking in your home.
For example, you pick a foyer table or sofa table…
Steps to decorating your space
Here are a few steps on what you want to do…
- Remove everything from that table
- Wipe the table down, give it a good cleaning.
- Sit back and think about the things you love and what kind of vibe you want to give off.
- Look around your home and pick out your favorite things. I move things around all the time to give a different look .
- Start with the middle.. do you have anything that you love that would make the best focal point.
- Then work around your main focal point..you can use items in your home or buy you something. I would use a mixture of some old and new.
- Decorate with odd numbers and grouping in 3’s always makes your home feel balanced!
