New Year, New Beginnings, and New Vibes!
Hi, Im Sabrina.. I started MC back in 2020 with one of my best friends, Autumn. At the end of 2022, Autumn stepped away from Mother Cluckers to spend more of her free time with family so, now it’s just me!
From day one of starting Mother Cluckers I’ve wanted to provide home luxuries, classy unique pieces, and gifts to all my customers. I want to give inspiration to make your house a home solely by walking through the shop, social media, and interior decorating. I firmly believe that your home should be your happy place that gives you allllll the comfy vibes! I want Mother Cluckers to be your go-to for all things decor that bring the happiness, love and comfort inside your home while showing off your touch of personality!
With that being said, here’s a little glimpse of my life. I’m married to my husband, Rob and I have two beautiful girls – Brooklyn (20) and Madison (14). I am your person for any spur of the moment idea or trip, a complete open book who loves being at home, and I may have been told more times than not that I am a perfectionist. My faith is strong and my positive personality radiates. I get very passionate about things in my life and I’ve learned through the years not to take anything for granted.
I’ve always had a passion for home decor, but unfortunately it doesn’t pay the bills.. So, as most of you know I spend my days working in Health Care. I am a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator at Clarksville Health & Rehab in Clarksville, VA. I have worked in Health Care for almost 17 years (WOW), I absolutely love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Enough about me, here’s a small look into how this whole thing got started –
I decided I wanted to open up a Home Decor Boutique in South Boston in August of 2019 (ya know, spur of the moment person here). So, over coffee with my best friend and work partner Autumn, we began planning Mother Cluckers. Quite literally the name, business plan, licenses, building, etc. was done within a week. Mother Cluckers was bought September of 2019 and opened March of 2020…. Did I forget to mention how I don’t like procrastinating and want things done ASAP??
Here recently I’ve added a New Brand “Faux Pre-made Floral Arrangements” … This is something that I have wanted to do ever since opening Mother Cluckers. I never could find the time but here’s to new beginnings! I have started and I just can’t stop! Being the homebody that I am – Friday’s are now dedicated to the faux arrangement world .. I like to call it Floral Friday. Check out some of the ones I have made below.
Also, I have been doing some interior decorating jobs for awhile, but now I am actually OFFICIAL! I received my Interior Decorator certification in January. Whooop whoooop! In need of an interior decorator? Give me a call and we can schedule a time to talk because I could go on for days about my love for decorating!

Oh and one more thing I am working on.. I am going to start an exclusive MC Club, organization, sorority, society… something… I just haven’t figured it all out yet.. but this exclusive club will be open to only 15 women to begin with.. there will be a buy-in which will get you a canvas bag and lots of goodies. It will have lots of perks, first looks, private events, and more. Stay tune to hear more soon…
Lastly, our Spring Open House is coming up March 4th and 5th along with MC moving into to year 4 which is just SO crazy to me!
